I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Jan 29), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 231,000 tonnes in coastal areas, down 35,000 tonnes or 13.16% from 266,000 tonnes last week but up 63.83% from 141,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 231,000 tonnes, down 35,000 tonnes or 13.16% from 266,000 tonnes last week but up 73.68% from 133,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 245,000 tonnes and 180,000 tonnes from Canada in January and February respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Jan 29), rapeseed oil stocks are 168,000 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 24,700 tonnes or 17.24% from 143,300 tonnes last week and down 39.74% from 278,800 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Jan 29), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 44,500 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 2,500 tonnes or 5.95% from 42,000 tonnes last week and up 242.31% from 13,000 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
