As operation rates continue falling in coastal China this week (Feb 13-19), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed is 38,000 tonnes, down 3,000 tonnes or 7.32% from 41,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 38,000 tonnes (meal 20900 tonnes and oil 16340 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes down to 7.58% from 8.18% last week, of which it is 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it goes to 18.4% from 19.85% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. Rapeseed crush will decline further to 27,000 tonnes next week as some mills are still in downtime, and may slightly pick up to 29,500 tonnes that following week.
