I. Hog Price
In the week from Feb 15 to Feb 19, China’s hog prices go down. And the average price index nationwide is 30.09 CNY/kg, a decrease of 0.70 CNY/kg or 2.30% versus 30.79 CNY/kg compared to before Spring Festival holidays (Feb 5), and a decline of 9.051 CNY/kg or 23.10% compared to 39.14 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 819.14 CNY per head nationwide, down 191.87 CNY or 19.00% from 1011.01 CNY on Feb 5 and down 1081.73 CNY or 56.90% from 1900.87 CNY a year earlier.
