Stocks of Rapeseed, Rapeseed oil and Rapeseed Meal in Coastal Areas and East China (Week 7, 2021)

I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Feb 19), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 226,000 tonnes in coastal areas, down 38,000 tonnes or 14.39% from 264,000 tonnes last week but up 68.6% from 134,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 226,000 tonnes, down 38,000 tonnes or 14.39% from 264,000 tonnes last week but up 82.3% from 124,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 188,000 tonnes and 240,000 tonnes from Canada in February and March respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

This week (ending Feb 19), rapeseed oil stocks are 223,900 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 48,600 tonnes or 27.72% from 175,300 tonnes last week and down 39.85% from 282,300 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
