I. Hog Price
In the week from Feb 22 to Feb 26, China’s hog prices go down. And the average price index nationwide is 27.69 CNY/kg, a decrease of 2.40 CNY/kg or 8.00% versus 30.09 CNY/kg compared to last Friday, and a decline of 11.00 CNY/kg or 28.40% compared to 38.69 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 450.67 CNY per head nationwide, down 368.47 CNY or 45.00% from 819.14 CNY in the previous week and down 1450.20 CNY or 76.30% from 1900.87 CNY a year earlier.
