As operation rates continue a decline in coastal China this week (Feb 20-26), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed is 25,000 tonnes, down 13,000 tonnes or 34.21% from 38,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 25,000 tonnes (meal 13,750 tonnes and oil 10,750 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes down to 4.99% from 7.58% last week, of which it is 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it goes to 12.11% from 18.4% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. As oil mills resume production, rapeseed crush is expected to increase to 31,000 tonnes and 52,500 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively.
