Stocks of Rapeseed, Rapeseed oil and Rapeseed Meal in Coastal Areas and East China (Week 8, 2021)

I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Feb 26), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 266,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 40,000 tonnes or 17.7% from 226,000 tonnes last week but up 24.3% from 214,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 266,000 tonnes, up 40,000 tonnes or 17.7% from 226,000 tonnes last week but up 30.4% from 204,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 193,000 tonnes and 240,000 tonnes from Canada in February and March respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

This week (ending Feb 26), rapeseed oil stocks are 188,100 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 35,800 tonnes or 15.99% from 223,900 tonnes last week and down 37.38% from 300,400 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

This week (ending Feb 26), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 62,000 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 11,000 tonnes or 15.07% from 73,000 tonnes last week and up 143.14% from 25,500 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
