I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Mar 5), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 357,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 91,000 tonnes or 34.21% from 266,000 tonnes last week but up 88.9% from 189,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 357,000 tonnes, up 91,000 tonnes or 34.21% from 266,000 tonnes last week but up 99.4% from 179,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 243,000 tonnes and 360,000 tonnes from Canada in March and April respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Mar 5), rapeseed oil stocks are 169,000 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 19,100 tonnes or 10.15% from 188,100 tonnes last week and down 44.57% from 304,900 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Mar 5), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 53,800 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 8,200 tonnes or 11.22% from 62,000 tonnes last week and up 198.89% from 18,000 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
