I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Mar 12), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 368,000 tonnes in coastal areas, down 54,000 tonnes or 12.8% from 422,000 tonnes last week but up 76.08% from 209,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 368,000 tonnes, down 54,000 tonnes or 12.8% from 422,000 tonnes last week but up 81.28% from 203,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 243,000 tonnes and 360,000 tonnes from Canada in March and April respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Mar 12), rapeseed oil stocks are 221,650 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 52,650 tonnes or 31.15% from 169,000 tonnes last week and down 28.01% from 307,900 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Mar 12), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 60,000 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 6,200 tonnes or 11.52% from 53,800 tonnes last week and up 361.54% from 13,000 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
