In January and February of 2021, China imported 4.80 mln tonnes corn (up 414.4% on year), 2.48 mln tonnes of wheat (up 265.1% on year), 1.32 mln tonnes of barley (up 79.4%), 1.40 mln tonnes of sorghum (up 365.6%), 1.05 mln tonnes of sugar (up 223.5%), and 700,000 tonnes of pork (up 26.2%), according to data by China’s Customs on March 18.
