China brought in 990,000 tonnes of wheat in February, a year-on-year increase of 188.6%; import value totaled 293.203 mln USD, a year-on-year increase of 203.7%, according to data by China’s General Administration of Customs.

In January-February 2021, China’s wheat imports were 2.48 mln tonnes, sharply 265.1% higher than a year earlier; import value totaled 728.465 mln USD, 281.5% higher than the previous year.
