China imported 1.78 mln tonnes of corn in February, a sharp increase of 1.28 mln or 256% from 500,000 tonnes in February 2020, data by China’s General Administration of Customs showed.

In January-February 2021, wheat imports amounted to 4.80 mln tonnes, surging 3.87 mln tonnes by 416.13% from 930,000 tonnes in Jan-Feb 2020.
