As operation rates continue rising in coastal China this week (Mar 13-19), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed is 63,000 tonnes, up 9,000 tonnes or 16.67% from 54,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 63,000 tonnes (meal 34,650 tonnes and oil 27,090 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes up to 12.57% from 10.78% last week, of which it is 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it goes to 30.51% from 26.15% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. As oil mills resume production, rapeseed crush is expected to decrease to 58,500 tonnes and 55,500 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively.
