I. Hog Price
In the week from Mar 15 to Mar 19, China’s hog prices keep falling. And the average price index nationwide is 27.44 CNY/kg, a drop of 0.62 CNY/kg or 2.20% versus 28.06 CNY/kg last Friday, and a decline of 9.32 CNY/kg or 25.40% compared to 36.76 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 467.41 CNY per head nationwide, down 58.72 CNY or 11.20% from 526.13 CNY in the previous week and down 976.46 CNY or 67.60% from 1443.87 CNY a year earlier.
