China imported 22,523 tonnes of chicken meal in January, up 6,622 tonnes or 41.65% from 15,901 tonnes in December 2020 and up 6,790 tonnes or 43.16% from January 2020, according to data by China's General Administration of Customs.

In February, China imported 13,378 tonnes of chicken meal, down 9,145 tonnes or 40.6% from 22,523 tonnes in January yet up 3,914 tonnes or 41.36% from 9,464 tonnes in February 2020.

During the month of January and February, China’s chicken meal imports totaled 35,901 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 10,704 tonnes or 42.48%.
