As operation rates are marginally lower in coastal China this week (Mar 20-26), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed is 61,000 tonnes, down 2,000 tonnes or 3.28% from 63,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 61,000 tonnes (meal 33,550 tonnes and oil 26,230 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes down to 12.18% from 12.57% last week, of which it is 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it goes to 29.54% from 30.51% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. As oil mills suspend production, rapeseed crush is expected to decrease further to 44,000 tonnes and 43,000 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively.
