I. Hog Price
In the week from Mar 29 to Apr 2, China’s hog prices continue the declines. And the average price index nationwide is 24.70 CNY/kg, a drop of 1.68 CNY/kg or 6.40% versus 26.38 CNY/kg last Friday, and a decline of 10.46 CNY/kg or 29.70% compared to 35.16 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 296.22 CNY per head nationwide, down 72.25 CNY or 19.60% from 368.47 CNY in the previous week and down 930.49 CNY or 74.00% from 1,138.46 CNY a year earlier.
