I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Apr 2), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 255,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 11,000 tonnes or 4.51% from 244,000 tonnes last week but up 3.24% from 247,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 255,000 tonnes, up 11,000 tonnes or 4.51% from 244,000 tonnes last week but up 37.1% from 186,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 240,000 tonnes and 180,000 tonnes from Canada in April and May respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Apr 2), rapeseed oil stocks are 247,850 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 29,700 tonnes or 13.61% from 218,150 tonnes last week and down 12.05% from 281,800 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Apr 2), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 74,300 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 2,300 tonnes or 3.19% from 72,000 tonnes last week and up 291.05% from 19,000 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
