In March 2021, China’s Producer Price Index (PPI) for manufactured goods rose by 4.4% year-on-year and 1.6% month-on-month, according to National Bureau of Statistics. And the purchasing price index for manufactured goods increased by 5.2% year-on-year and 1.8% month-on-month. In the first quarter, the PPI grew 2.1% compared to a year earlier, and the purchasing price index rose by 2.8% from the previous year.
