I. Hog Price
In the week from April 6 to April 9, China’s hog prices maintain the declines. And nationwide average price index is 21.23 CNY/kg, a decrease of 3.47 CNY/kg or 14.05% versus 24.70 CNY/kg a week earlier, and a descent of 13.35 CNY/kg or 38.61% compared to 34.58 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is -60.80 CNY per head nationwide, significantly falling by 357.02 CNY or 120.53% from 296.22 CNY in the previous week and down 1,177.19 CNY or 105.45% from 1,116.39 CNY a year earlier.
