I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Apr 9), China’s rapeseed stocks total 252,000 tonnes in coastal areas, down 3,000 tonnes or 1.18% from 255,000 tonnes last week but up 2.33% from 258,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 252,000 tonnes,  down 3,000 tonnes or 1.18% from 255,000 tonnes last week but up 27.3% from 198,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 239,000 tonnes and 180,000 tonnes from Canada in April and May respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Apr 9), rapeseed oil stocks are 230,150 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 17,700 tonnes or 7.14% from 247,850 tonnes last week and down 9.35% from 253,900 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Apr 9), rapeseed meal stocks total 86,600 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 12,300 tonnes or 16.55% from 74,300 tonnes last week and up 214.91% from 27,500 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
