I. Hog Price
In the week from April 12 to April 16, China’s hog prices take a rally. And nationwide average price index is 23.93 CNY/kg, a rise of 2.70 CNY/kg or 12.72% versus 21.23 CNY/kg a week earlier, yet a descent of 10.07 CNY/kg or 29.62% compared to 34.00 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 384.24 CNY per head nationwide, jumping by 445.04 CNY or 739.97% from -60.80 CNY in the previous week, decreasing by 672.50 CNY or 63.64% from 1056.74 CNY a year earlier.
