I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Apr 16), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 270,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 18,000 tonnes or 7.14% from 252,000 tonnes last week and up 39.18% from 194,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 270,000 tonnes,  up 18,000 tonnes or 7.14% from 252,000 tonnes last week but up 87.5% from 144,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 239,000 tonnes and 180,000 tonnes from Canada in April and May respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Apr 16), rapeseed oil stocks are 228,950 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 1,200 tonnes or 0.52% from 230,150 tonnes last week and down 1.65% from 232,800 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Apr 16), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 88,500 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 1,900 tonnes or 2.19% from 86,600 tonnes last week and up 205.17% from 29,000 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
