China exported 5816.112 tonnes of corn starch in March, down 205.158 tonnes or 3.41% from 6021.266 tonnes in the previous month and down 104214.698 tonnes or 94.71% from 110030.81 tonnes a year earlier, data from China’s Customs showed.

China’s corn starch exports total 30758.072 tonnes from January to March 2021, down 212683.349 tonnes or 87.37% from 243441.421 tonnes a year earlier. Corn starch exports fall to a five-year low due to the COVID-19 across the globe and as domestic corn starch price keep climbing.
