I. Hog Price
In the week from April 19 to April 23, China’s hog prices fluctuate to fall. And nationwide average price index is 23.30 CNY/kg, a decline of 0.63 CNY/kg or 2.63% versus 23.93 CNY/kg a week earlier, and a descent of 10.63 CNY/kg or 31.33% compared to 33.93 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 340.75 CNY per head nationwide, down 43.49 CNY or 11.32% from 384.24 CNY in the previous week, and down 683.92 CNY or 66.75% from 1024.67 CNY a year earlier.
